About Dr. Paula Battle
I am committed to providing an emotionally safe environment for my clients; to listening with respect, compassion and empathy; and to collaboratively working with you to help you make the changes you wish to make in your life.
I have been registered as a Clinical Psychologist since 2000 and have spent my career, first as a social worker and then as a psychologist, assisting children, adolescents, adults, couples and families to overcome issues that have limited their happiness. My practice now focuses exclusively on adults and couples, but the breadth of my experience continues to inform my work and my ability to work with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues and parenting concerns, stress, trauma, separation and divorce.
I provide a safe, warm, and empathic space in which to explore these issues, and a depth of experience and a range of therapeutic tools to assist you. I have training and expertise in cognitive behavioural therapy, emotionally focused therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, as well as EMDR and energy psychology EFT, and an interest in both mindfulness and psycho-spiritual exploration in individual work.
